Radio Talk Show – Planning about your first Talk Show

Obviously you'll want to because they have carried out the individual tests, called friends and the first full test dummy up, or "Rehearsal", of a real show that plans to do. You have to do it with a friend playing the role of your guests or if your first guest is to do so, it would be preferable to rehearsing with his first guest.

But now that you feel that you are ready to make your first show, you have to decide if you're going to talk about yourself as an expert on a particular subject or if you will interview an expert invited on the subject.

If you don't know already someone personally in your niche to or agreed to be interviewed in your program, you will need to find experts.

How to find and prepare your guest expert

There are numerous ways that you can find experts in any particular niche that will agree to be a guest on his show. But do not necessarily want to start with more well know and sought after personality in your niche. Especially if they are making money from conferences or are large enough in the industry to claim payment for an interview. Start out with you want someone who you know or have the credentials that make them well thought by people in your target audience regardless of whether they have heard of them or not.

You can start to forums or to return to the forums that are adapted to your market niche and looking for people who are or appear to be intelligently answering a lot of questions from other members of the Forum.

If you find in your signature there file Forum public that they are promoting a product in particular that has to do with the niche, better than best. They will probably appreciate the opportunity in potential exposure for your program and Yes happy when you finally ask them for an interview. If they seem to be an authority on a particular topic of your niche, you can private message via the Forum with a direct request as:

Hello (name),

I am (your name), host (your program name), I've been reading your posts here on the forum for a while and really appreciate how well informed you are about (niche theme) and the well thought out and articulate their positions are.

I'd like to interview him on my program in the near future. This could mean an additional exposure for you and (what is being promoted). If you would be prepared for an interview, please answer this afternoon with only your email address if you want to reaffirm a time when we could talk by telephone or your contact information and best time to contact you.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

(Your name)

It's that simple. However, you have contacts that one or more experts in your niche that you can always get them concerning the person.

You can find people who would be willing to do an interview in forums, blogs, social sites, or even to the associations and local businesses using the same basic approach as above.

Call

You want to speak with your potential guest, either by phone or if you are local to perhaps even person.? You want to keep the call short and they do not occupy much of his time.  Once you have made a call with your first visitor to get to know, let them know that it is Internet Talk Radio and that they will not have to enter a Studio, will call him your program from a fixed line from the comfort of your home or office and the majority will be according to an interview. Once he agreed to be interviewed to be sure you will get your email address if you don't already have it and let them know that it will have to make a call before the interview with them so that they have an understanding of the format of the show, some of the questions that you would like to do and to cover anything that take into account that you would like to promote to the end of the interview.

Also make sure that according to the date and time slot to be a guest on his show.

Set a time to make the call before the interview 3 to 4 days prior to the actual interview. Make sure that you have exchanged all the relevant contact information.
